MINI to Adopt NACS (Tesla) Charging Standard

Much like many other big brands, MINI (as well as BMW/Rolls Royce) in the North American market has finally agreed to adopt the NACS charging standard in the North American market. As part of the agreement, MINI will begin adopting the NACS charging standard to allow it’s vehicles to begin using designated Tesla superchargers starting in 2025.

The companies will work together to create a seamless customer experience enabling BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce drivers to find and access available Superchargers on their vehicle’s display, and then make payments through their respective vehicle’s brand app.

MINI/BMW are continuing investment in rolling out their own charging network in combination with six OEM partners to provide the best possible experience for owners of their electric vehicles.
